Morrill Hall joins UNL and the nation in mourning the passing of President Jimmy Carter, celebrating his life and service to our country, including his efforts in the promotion of wildlife conservation. The museum will remain open 9am-5pm on Thursday, January 9 as we honor his legacy.

Our volunteer program at the University of Nebraska State Museum provides a variety of opportunities to get involved in supporting our mission. Volunteers can assist with hands-on activities in the Morrill Hall galleries, work in our Collections with specimens and objects, and conduct research on Nebraska's natural history.
